Het VBSW-symposium aanvaardt inzendingen van alle onderzoeksdomeinen binnen de bewegings- en sportwetenschappen gerelateerd aan het bestuderen van de bewegende mens en de mens in beweging. Het insturen van een abstract is gratis en kan via de inschrijvingslink. 

 

Abstracts voor mondelinge presentaties: 

• Deadline: 28 november 2025 (17:00).
• Wie: PhD-studenten die een mondelinge of posterpresentatie wensen te geven.
• Hoe: De abstracts dienen verstuurd te worden naar verenigingbsw@gmail.com. 
• Bekendmaking: De jury weerhoudt 12 individuele abstracts voor een mondelinge presentatie; kandidaten worden hier op 12 december per mail van op hoogte gesteld. Ingezonden abstracts die de mondelinge selectie niet gehaald hebben, worden automatisch doorverwezen naar de postersessie (met hetzelfde abstract; geen nood aan nieuwe submissie).

 

Abstract voor posterpresentaties:

• Deadline: 5 december 2025 (17:00)
• Wie: masterstudenten, PhD-studenten, postdocs, Professoren, vorige VBSW-laureaten, etc. die een posterpresentatie wensen te geven.
• Hoe: De abstracts dienen verstuurd te worden naar verenigingbsw@gmail.com. 
• Bekendmaking:Tijdens de postersessie krijgen alle deelnemers die een abstract voor een posterpresentatie instuurden de kans om hun poster voor te stellen aan hun collega's. De jury weerhoudt echter slechts 10 individuele abstracts (posters) die voor de jury gepresenteerd worden en zodoende in aanmerking komen voor de Gaston Beunen VBSW prijs; deze selectie wordt niet op voorhand bekend gemaakt.

• Gaston Beunen VBSW-prijs voor jonge onderzoekers: PhD studenten - beste mondelinge presentatie
• Gaston Beunen VBSW-prijs voor jonge onderzoekers: PhD studenten - beste posterpresentatie
• Gaston Beunen VBSW-prijs voor jonge onderzoekers: Master studenten - beste posterpresentatie

 Publieksprijzen

• PhD studenten - beste mondelinge presentatie
• PhD studenten - beste posterpresentatie
• Master studenten - beste posterpresentatie

 

Er wordt slechts 1 abstract per PhD- of masterstudent als eerste auteur aanvaard.

 

 

 

 

Guidelines ABSTRACT

 

To ensure uniformity, please carefully read and strictly follow the instructions below. If you have any questions, you can contact us at verenigingbsw@gmail.com.

 

General Guidelines

1. Use the abstract template provided on the website (see below)

2. No changes should be made to the lay-out of the template

     a. Do not change the line spacing and do not remove or add white spaces

     b. Use the correct font and correct font size as indicated in the template and below

3. Abstract should be written in English

4. The abstract's main content should not exceed 300 words (title, authors and affiliations not included)

5. All text in the template that is between ***…*** should be erased from the template

6. No images, graphs or figures should be added to the abstract

7. Save the abstract as a Word document, entitled: Name_Firstname_University

8. Send the final abstract to verenigingbsw@gmail.com and mention your preferred presentation format as indicated on the registration form

 

Specific guidelines

1. Title of the abstract

     a. Font: Calibri Light

     b. Font size: 16

     c. Only the first letter of the title should be in uppercase

     d. Title should not be in bold or italic

2. Names of authors

     a. Font: Calibri

     b. Font size: 11

     c. Write names in full with the name followed by the first name: Name First name

     d. Only the first letter of the name and the first name should be in uppercase

     e. The name of the actual presenter should be in bold

     f. Use a comma to separate author names

     g. Affiliations of authors should be included by a numeral in superscript

3. Affiliations

     a. Font: Calibri

     b. Font size: 9

     c. Affiliations should be mentioned as: (1) Affiliation 1, (2) Affiliation 2…

4. Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusion

     a. Font: Calibri

     b. Font size: 11

     c. The introduction, methods, results and conclusion should be entered in the designated area

5. Correspondence e-mail

     a. Font: Calibri

     b. Font size: 11

      c. Should be in italic
