Dear colleagues in Movement and Sports Sciences,

We are pleased to invite you to the 31^st Annual Symposium of the Association for Movement and Sports Sciences (VBSW), which will take place on Friday the 11^th December 2026, at Ghent University, Department of Movement and Sports Sciences, Watersportlaan 2, Gent.

This annual symposium offers a welcoming and stimulating setting for both early-career and experienced researchers. The programme will feature inspiring keynote lectures alongside oral and poster sessions showcasing current research in movement and sport sciences.

Participation is open to all: students, researchers, practitioners, coaches, athletes, and professionals from the sports sector. Over the years, the symposium has grown into a well‑established forum that connects master’s students, researchers, and stakeholders across the field of movement and sports sciences. The event also provides valuable opportunities to engage with our sponsors and industry partners.
